No of course not. I don't get that much email based on my personal pages that I need a way to bounce those people, but I'm envious of all those fems out there who put up FAQs to deal with all their fan mail from horny boys. So I thought I would do one as a fun exercise for pure ego gratification. However, that is not to say I don't get any email, and the following questions have been asked.
Hopefully not, see the apartment description for its status. I feel like a grand-daddy in this apartment having had 4 roommates in two years. The reason I've stayed "so long" is because I lived in four places in the year before I moved here! Plus, my wide-screen TV is a pain to move. Hopefully next year I'll move to Davis Square, Manhattan, or London.
Yes, I actually do have a real job, though I suspect most of my friends and family think I sleep while working at home and travel around the world when I get bored. The goal of my job is to produce technical specifications for Web stuff. To do that, I have to spend a lot of time in Working Group teleconferences and meetings. I often Chair them, so as to help people from different companies come up with good designs that are then widely implemented. The trick then is to prevent all that cooperation from being rendered moot when the marketing/press battle starts. Being a zinester, I'm always thinking about what I do, so I spend a fair amount of time trying to improve how I work with my colleagues, how my organization works (particularly in the legal context), and writing papers about it. Since all of this is global, I swing some cool international travel -- but a lot of it is red-eye flights to boring places.
I'm about 5-7 years older than what people first take me for. My friend trouble's response to the same questions is "it's because of my righteous life-style mother fucker." I don't mind looking young! Well, I mind it a little because I used to get compliments for being successful given my youth, now people seem disappointed that I just look young! I'm sure the pseudo-sXe life-style helps, but obviously it's also in the genes, my brothers look young too.

Um, ok. I say this at the risk of alienating the group of people who actually do send me email about my pages: it's the girls that make my heart go a'flutter. But there are some really neat men out there -- though nothing repulses me more than a creepy one. Yes, I dress Gothy, I do listen to Madonna, I have both passive and active gaydar, I dance well, I bleach my hair, I see lots of gay films, I have gay friends, but it's all a secret ruse to make the hotties think I'm sensitive.
