Visiting Mt. Auburn cemetery and Harvard’s Arnold Arboretum is a cherished autumn tradition. Our visits this year were likely our last. It boggles the mind to think that this time next year we will be somewhere else, but we will. I imagine wherever that is, though, there will be leaves to peep.
The arboretum’s bonsais are a favorite, as are the cork trees.
And the wildlife at the
cemetery is extraordinary: turkeys, hawks, chipmunks, squirrels, and
even a coyote this year!
