Last year I wrote how my photograph of a woman sitting on a bench in Cambridge caught the attention of a writer. This year, Uncle Thirsty released their first album with a cover of a bearded man on the same bench.
It's gratifying what happens when one puts one's work out there. Though, sadly, I avoid Google Images now because of inappropriate use of images and the associated bandwidth costs; Eric Morgan has encountered similar issues which he presented at the First Monday conference on openness: Ethical and economic issues surrounding freely available images found on the Web.
